Life Onboard

I really can't start blogging about the summer without a post about the lake. We are there pretty much every chance we can get, so I have lots of pictures from different weekends there. This group was from our first summer trip to the lake.

Victoria has been wakeboarding for several years now and is becoming quite proficient!

Look at this hottie!! Aaron is the master boat driver in Brockland. He drives the boat for hours (and when all my kids trundle on board, it becomes the best babysitter ever!)

We couldn't have a post about the lake without a cousin or ten! Time with the cousins is what makes the lake magical. This is Olivia. Isn't she beautiful??

This is Kayla--youngest of the Ed and Marnell's six and Abby's little best friend.

Holly likes to tube and occasionally knee board. She hasn't ventured on the wakeboard yet....I think it's because she sees falls like these and she's no dummy..

But she also sees things like this from her older cousin Jeremy..

Cami is our adorable early teenager. Her legs are so long that watching her get up on the wakeboard is like watching a foal walk for the first time! Oh how wonderful it would be to have legs that were TOO long....

Of course, a post depicting boat life would not be complete without a shot of Meredith, who is a mainstay onboard. She comes prepared with drinks and her blankie and often curls up and takes a nap! Aaron is training her well.....
