Fourth of July is by far Aaron's favorite holiday. Each year he is in charge of the BROCK FIREWORKS SHOW, and each year the show gets more exciting, more varied, more spectacular! This year, Aaron added patriotic music cued to the fireworks. It was first class.
The fireworks platform. Notice that it is on the OLD dock. If you think there are no sketchy/semi-dangerous moments on the platform think again. The fact all involved still have fingers is amazing.
For the Land of the Free
It has become a rite of passage for the male teenagers of the family to assist Aaron in his fireworks spectacle. In the past, Christopher, William and Kent have been his chief minions. Now that William and Cris are on missions, Kent has finally been promoted to second in command and Jeremy and Spencer have joined the ranks....
This is Spencer, who by the way is Meredith's FAVORITE boy cousin. She talks about him daily and made a bracelet for him last weekend. Spencer is actually quite amazing with her as well.
Olivia, Spencer's little sis is another favorite with Meredith. They have doted on her since day one, and Meredith has slurped up all the attention with enthusiasm!
These 3 are frequently found together. They are waiting for dusk when the sparklers will be lit. Please note that although I brought a cute July 4th outfit for Holly to wear, she raided the famous "white lake cast off closet" after swimming and grabbed a large vintage Star Wars T-shirt from some distant decade. CLASSIC.

Since White Lake is round, everyone with houses on the lake sit and watch the different fireworks shows from their docks. Aaron's is the biggest show after the commercial show found at Goldston's Beach!
The is Cami. She's our 13 year old beauty. Remember those awkward early teen days--bad skin, changing body, weird hair, etc.? She clearly won't. I have more acne than her right now!
