Victoria auditions for the SC Governor's School Summer Program

First of all, let me say how proud I am for Victoria trying out for this program. The amount of energy it took to get all the audition materials ready (essay, collages, letters of recommendation, paintings, a sketchbook etc.) was significant. And of course, we were working up to the last minute to prepare, so there were some stressful moments! She even had to go to columbia one morning, interview with someone, then jockey for position around a table and sketch a still life with 20 other peers. I am proud of her effort, even if she didn't end up making it in. It was an experience.

And, YES, we found out in April that she DID make it in! Way to go Victoria!!!
